How it works
One conflict. Different perspectives. One clearer picture.
The same situation can look very different to different people. ConflictResolver gives every participant a private way to describe their own perspective and turns those perspectives into one shared analysis.
The goal is not to decide who is right. The goal is to understand more clearly what is happening between the participants, why the conflict has formed, and what could be done next.
A case can include 2–10 participants: for example a couple, two siblings, four friends, five relatives, a team of six, or a parent and several family members.
1. Start a conflict case
Choose what kind of situation this is:
- romantic relationship
- parent and child
- friends
- family or relatives
- workplace
- another relationship
ConflictResolver is made for 2–10 participants.
The initiator creates the case, chooses the participants, the main language for the shared report, and the deadline for answers.
2. Describe your own perspective
Each participant goes through their own private interview.
ConflictResolver may ask, for example:
- what happened
- what you think the conflict is really about
- how you interpreted the situation
- what you were trying to achieve
- what mattered to you
- what you think about the other participants' perspectives
You can answer in your own words and in your own language.
You can speak directly. Frustration, anger, or strong language can be expressed as you experience it.
The other participants do not see your original answers.
3. Invite the other participants
When your own part is complete, you can share a separate secure invitation link with each participant.
An invited participant does not need:
- an account
- a password
- an app
- a payment
They open the link and answer independently.
Everyone can use their own language. For example, one person can answer in Finnish, another in German, and a third in Swedish.
4. Everyone answers privately
Participants do not see each other's interviews.
ConflictResolver does not publish private answers word for word in the shared report and does not pass on swearing, insults, or emotionally charged sentences as they were written.
Instead, the report can include what is essential for understanding the conflict:
- experiences
- perspectives
- interpretations
- concerns
- needs
- the core issues in the conflict
The report can name how different participants see the situation, but their original answers are not shown.
5. ConflictResolver analyses the whole picture
When the response time ends, or the initiator closes the answers, ConflictResolver creates a shared analysis from the perspectives of those who completed their part.
The report is not just a summary.
It can examine, for example:
- what type of conflict this appears to be
- what often happens in situations like this
- where participants agree
- where their experiences differ
- how the same event has taken on different meanings
- what each person appears to be trying to achieve or protect
- whether there is a repeating interaction loop
- what may be hard for the parties to notice themselves
- what the real core of the conflict appears to be
If the material is not enough for a conclusion, the report should say so.
6. You receive one shared Conflict Report
Everyone who participated receives the same shared analysis.
The report can include, for example:
What often happens in this kind of conflict
A short general background that helps explain the dynamics.
How it appears in your specific situation
ConflictResolver combines the participants' perspectives and analyses both differences and overlaps.
What the core conflict appears to be
What is really keeping the situation stuck.
What is worth resolving now
Which question matters most.
ConflictResolver's suggestion
A concrete next step based on this specific situation.
The goal is not just to say 'communicate better', but to help identify what really needs to be agreed or changed.
7. Read the report in your own language
One main language is chosen for the shared report.
Participants can still read the same report in their own language.
A language version is not a new analysis. It is the same Conflict Report in another language.
8. If the conflict continues
One payment includes one ConflictResolver case and one shared report.
If the participants later want to return to the same conflict, Continue working on this conflict opens a new paid case.
The new case can use the shared history from the earlier report and notice, for example, whether the same interaction pattern is repeating.
Old private interview answers are not reopened.
